Oregon Enduro, Bend This Weekend - Video

The Oregon Enduro Series presented by 10 Barrel Brewing will host the Bend Enduro June 5th.

Bend Oregon is a mountain biking mecca. Check out some of the terrain in the 5 stage Enduro covering Bend's best gravity focused trails on Sunday. It's going to be tons of fun with 11 categories for racers, the free Hutchs Kids Mini Enduro on Saturday, and shuttles all weekend. Lot's of beer and free massages for athletes thanks to 10 Barrel Brewing. Oregon Enduro is teaming up with the Big Mountain Enduro timing crew this year to provide a new timing system at the Oregon Enduro events.

 Let's hope it's set up better this year. Last year's timing and organizing was a joke. I demand more water at the ends of stages!

 @bubbrubb: I won a set of maxxis tires... Sponsors of the race.... They didn't have the tires on site, just certificates that said email a person, etc.... Then they stopped answering emails

 Bend is fun if you hit it during some rain. The sandy trails get blown out fast there. Bummer that they are going to tear them up this weekend. I wish these events that use public trails would put in some work time to fix their damage.

 That's what is nice about the CDC. They gave money back to the HRATS the other weekend to maintain the Post Canyon trails.

 The Oregon Enduro and the riders in the video have put in countless hours of trail maintenance this season and many others. What maintenance have you put in this season? It's easy to bitch online! Grab a shovel and help out! Your key board isn't going to fix a thing.

 @GaryC: Yeah, but think about how much less work would need to be done if there wasn't a race. Or how much better the trail would be if there wasn't a race and they put in the same amount of time.

 @CaseyDc: Says the guy who has barely ridden his bike this season. FYI they are already blown out. Should have been out there when it was freshly melted and hero dirt. Its Bend, the trails get hammered, get over it. On the bright side all the braking bumps make it a bit more of a challenge.

Sadly, I haven't been able to ride much this year. I was able to get some funner and tylers in early.
I need a job that does not require me to work 11hr days 5-6 days a week, or I need a job riding my bike. Then I'd get out there more.

 Honestly i have never been to bend Oregon before but from the video the riding honestly looks okay, and seems to have enough cool features to make it worth your time and also has the potential for some good competition but what can i say every one has there own opinion.

 It's not my favorite but it's not too bad. The real bummer is that 10 Barrell started using artificial cucumber flavoring after being purchased by InBev.

 Just because bend trails are FLAT doesn't mean the trails suck. It separates the strong from the weak! They need an enduro race at cline!

 A cline Super D would be rowdy. Definitely bring you're big boy pants for that one.

 I'd rather forget about the craftybrew scene and drink swillsner from safeway and ride the volcanic earth. I checked out Bend in the Spring - it was rad. You can keep the downtown pubbery - I'll sleep in my van with a 30-pack.
