I enjoy trail riding and going to trail centres. Even though I have been riding since I was 15 I am let to master the manual and jumping large tables and doubles. I have made these my priority to improve my riding.

Tech Tuesday: DH Helmet vs. Motocross Helmet: Which is Safer?
Quite true but the link to concussion and death may be a new one but it doesnt mean that stringent experiments and investigations have not been undertaken. Also mountain bike riders are more likely to have these low impact crashes which cause concussion which then can scar the brain causing damage. And when in the article they talk about high, medium and low impacts its in realtion to what a motor bike rider would sustain. Im not saying landing on your face from a huge drop is not serious or hiting a pointed object but these are still not to the same force as a motorbike rider would sustain from hitting a truck or if racing say the TT in isle of man and hitting a wall at 120 mph.

Tech Tuesday: DH Helmet vs. Motocross Helmet: Which is Safer?
Im pritty sure that when you once crash the manufacturers sate you have to replace it beacuse it can only take one impact and offer full protection. Also I've only ever used 661 helmets at £80-£110 beacuse its all i can afford. After taking two big impacts where my head met a nice six inch diamater root and then a rock in a row on the side of my head in the same crash i was fine with no concussion but the helemet was shagged. So i will be sticking to DH specific helmets Also the article said that there is new evidence concerning DEATH linked to soncussions whichyou sustain from small impacts. if thats not a serious injury i don't know what is.

Cane Creek Double Barrel Air - Interbike 2011
I have read a first look of the cane creek DBair on another site where the mag crew were with the cane creek team and they said that there wasn't a huge weight saving. They also said it wass more expensive and less reliable then the coil because of the larger number of parts in the shock.

Madison / Saracen Bike Check - Halo BDS
I think their race bikes look lush in the red but im not a fan of the production graphics, it would be soo much better to get them in the race colours.

Critical Mass in Brazil ends with 20 injured riders
I never said i hate roadies i was just stating what my experience is. I've been in a car and been behind road riders riding 4 abrest covering the whole of the lane and also drifting across the whole road when cournering almost getting flattened by the bus behind him. I've also seen commuters who might not be keen cyclists but still don't follow the rules of the road. it has onthing to do with hating people, i used to do road rides when i was up in lancaster with roadies and they were a great bunch of people. what i was trying to get at is that every road user be it motorist or cyclist needs to be considerate to everyone on the road.

Critical Mass in Brazil ends with 20 injured riders
This whole thing about who were roads made for first, in england it was the pedestrian they have right of way over every other road user. Secondly I currently live in oxford were there are hundresds of cyclists ost of which go through red lights and generally don't follow the laws of the road. I have also had experiances where motorists have driven so they are nearly on my tire and honk their horns and shout to put me off. I also find the road riders are worst for riding two abrest amoungst other things that frustrate motorists. what im trying to say is that people on both sides need to realise that the road is there for everyone and that both groups will still be riding on the road hundreds of years from now so we need to get over our differences. As for what the driver did i was utterly horrified when i watch the video and the fact that he ran and hid makes it worse, he should be had up for manslaugther.
