I had to keep adjusting the volume. But I guess we are to be made to feel that we are all getting the inside scoop on what happened. I did wonder what happened to Ratboy when I was watching the race.

@domo-kun same here. If you turn the volume up loud enough to hear the guys speaking, then your ears start to bleed when the music starts playing. It would be nice if they would equalize it a bit more.

The pro riders can use helmet cams during practice if they have filled out disclaimer paperwork during the weekend for the UCI. There was loads of radio chat about it at FW while i was marshaling, ratboy forgot to get his paperwork done originally.

This new series hits me totally flat. "This Is Peaty" was so much more fun and entertaining to watch- what happened? Where is the madcap, ragtag band of pirates storming the castle* that we've come to love over the past seasons?

* Yes, I do realize pirates probably didn't storm castles, but the metaphor flowed so I went with it.
