"In Good Company" - A film about the importance of mountain biking to a community
@ownit I just want to chime in as a trail builder of the NF and let you know how much hard work, dedication and planning went into building these trails, using natural resources, shaping our trails to the land and not against it, using the best and longest lasting natural materials we could use. Always taking into concern water shed, proper drainage, sustainability and respecting the land and wildlife. We don't just go find some random hill and start cutting down live tree's. I find it very odd of you to jump to conclusions without knowing our back history and trying to say things that are entirely incorrect.
Please come to www.whatcomtrails.com to learn more about us and what we do. We are not an irresponsible group. We are a group that picks up the mess of other irresponsible people in the area.
In the video above you will see a lot of wide milled cedar slabs. My friends and I worked hard to trade services with other locals to get this prime cedar wood, we spent numerous hours and our own money to buy the equipment to be able to create these slabs at our homes and bring into the wooded areas with little to no deadfall or blowdown wood. http://www.pinkbike.com/photo/4489083/
