Treelines Builds Trails

A documentation of the work we have been putting in over the last few years on our new line. A bunch of different days all spun into one. We dig, drink, eat, and ride only the best. For most of our crew, this is a way of life. Dedicated to the dedicated trail builders. You know who your are. Music by Stars, & Deer Tick.

In my oppinion this should get VOD. I Know Therse not a lot of riding involved and the video is not really focused on the riding. But this shows true passion and dedication for the trails.
  • + 9
Thanks man, my external hard drive crashed, and I had to cut the video short. Keep an eye out for Part 2, more building and more shredding.
  • + 7
Video's good, but it could probably use some cumin.
  • + 3
yeah man for sure. I think I will stick with fajitas from now on.
  • + 5
**trail tacos**mmmmm...Great vid!! Great trail!! much respect!! trails dont build themselves..
  • + 3
Your guys work is very inspirational Ive been digging on the Vancouvers North Shore for years now, everytime I watch your videos it makes me eager to go work on my trail. I would love to make a trip out there to dig with you guys someday!
  • + 1
Thanks man! Check in this summer, hoping to have the line ready by then.... Diggin trail in the woods is what Treelines is all about!!!
  • + 1
Awesome if you guys are ever on the Shore let me know we can ride some trail!!!!!!
  • + 3
i want nothing more than to live this lifestyle.
  • + 3
Go get it man. We all still have day jobs, this is just what we do every spare minute.
  • + 2
Were just starting to kick in trails here in Wilkeson Washington. Mostly just throwing branches out of the way. This video rocks... I'll be 50 years old in May. Building trails makes me feel like I'm 15. We went out the other day after the Ice Storm and OMG we have tons of work ahead but will gladly do it so we have someplace to ride. If you are ever out in Orting, Washington...stop by Trailside Cyclery and say hey. This video make us all full of envy and is sooo inspirational. Plus that is the most bad assed van I think I have ever seen.
  • + 1
Thanks man! I will be sure to swing in next time I'm out that way. Stoked to here you guys are getting after it. Be patient and don't rush your trail. We have been working on this for 3 years now, but the pay off will last much longer.
  • + 1
hahah gotta finish highschool first. but thats the plan!
  • + 1
 VOD
  • + 1
2.21 .... hope you cleaned that up you dirty basterds lol
  • + 5
Wow amazing dedication towards riding and a brilliant film, so what if its not all riding this is truely insane how much effort and dedication you put into this! And not forgetting the style and speed you add to the trail! :-)
  • + 4
Yeah we build with speed in mind. Taller berms and roller coaster style benching.
  • + 3
I've been looking at your building pics for awhile now and it has inspired me to do few things locally. You really do put your heart into your work and it shows. Keep up the great work! Big props and can't wait for Chapter 2.
  • + 3
Thanks man! Building is just as fun as shredding to me. Either way your out in the woods or hills, and you gotta put in the work to have good trails. Get after it man!
  • + 2
No wonder you always bring the food. I'd bring sandwiches too if I could make them that fast! That last batch of fajitas were killer. Not too many dudes pack cast iron skillets into the woods. Sick footage bro. Can't wait for part 2. VOD!
  • + 2
yeah i figured it was about time i just said Thanks! you guys got it goin on! its people like you guys that that made me realize its time to get my shit together and get out and dig, and then once your out there you realize its its just as fun as riding your bike but maybe more gratifying because its something that your sharing. So again i just want to say Thanks!
  • + 2
AS a lone trail digger (who can bribe a few friends now and then to dig alongside), I can appreciate the hard work demonstrated in this video. I sure am glad my wife loves me enough to let me invest 8 to 10 hours a week in my continuing shoveling path into bliss. Good job guys, good JOB!
  • + 1
Yes, I am lucky to have a wife that shares me with the forest too!!!!
  • + 2
Loved, loved this vid. All the elements here. Digging chocolate trails through lush forest, respect to the tools, crazy awesome features, killer riding, hanging out with friends, fire and carne asada. Looks like a perfect day. My bike, Excalibur (my shovel) and I would love to spend the day contributing to the life. Big props guys!
  • + 1
@treelinesnw sorry pal i dont agree i have fast rocky/rooty/tech trails with big jumps on them that have been there for the last 15 years, im not saying what your doing is wrong, i just find fast and smooth boring sorry, its your trail do as u like, if your gonna post then its fair for us all to comment weather it be neg or poss,
  • + 2
at Crag222. fast and smooth is not always boring.

www.pinkbike.com/video/151942
  • + 1
That is a sick trail and definitely proof that Fast and Smooth is not boring. I enjoy technical as well but what really gets my adrenaline pumping is Fast Smooth and lots of air-time!
  • + 1
verry cool vid im envious.i live and build in a dryer climat in SE washington we depend on fall and spring and an ocasional summer rain to build with dirt so are trails are a mixture of wood and dirt and sagebrush. I under stand the passion.keep it flowing.
  • + 1
I've seen the conditions over there. It looks difficult to work, I guess you do what you can developing your own techniques that work. We are very lucky to have the forest and dirt like we have here.
  • + 1
 Brillliant video,
My track was just wiped out by storms recently and is in dire need of repair ... After seeing this video all i want to do is fire up the chainsaw and go re-buildin !
Re affirmed my want/need to build, lol
Thanks guys
  • + 1
Stoked to here that man. One of the reason I filmed and posted is to get others hyped up and keep my own motivation up. Keep a photo journal of your trail work so you can view it when your not in the woods to keep the stoke going.
  • + 1
i wish i had the land and dedicated helpers like you do, my friends ride at dirt jump parks and when/if they come and help they will stand there leaning on the spade saying things like "you need to hack out those roots" or "you could build a really nice burm there" or what really drives mine mad is when they say "that jumps shit" drives me insane!
  • + 1
Nice, traditional PNW Trailday BBQ. You guys should also start selling those stickers and shirts. I know of plenty of people that would be willing to support a dedicated trail crew.
  • + 1
Thanks man! When you spend 6-8 hours digging for fun, you still gotta eat. May as well eat good.
  • + 1
Oh yeah, we keep a couple cows worth of beef in the freezer for such occasions. Or just for the hell of it.
  • + 2
VOD..! The only way we have trails to film people ride is because of the dedication of awesome people. Great job Adam and the Treelines Crew
  • + 1
Thanks Mac and Shuttlenuts for the support and help on building this awesome line.
  • + 2
 Like it

we´re doing it at home too in Sweden, i love the life

Never used a machine...slowly we´re getting the lines done, having fun

having fun is just the thing yknow
  • + 1
Thats a sick vid! I heard you guys come to galby! You should definatly come and build some new Trails there that arent being logged on! That be great!!!! I just want to kill those loggers!!!
  • + 3
I could watch this forever. Awesome!
  • + 3
 Trail building videos are cool.
  • + 3
 keepin PNW sick as always
  • + 0
@treelinesnw that video as just cemented my previous comment's i was bored after 30seconds, hey we all ride bikes you enjoy fast and smooth il enjoy fast and tech
video.mpora.com/watch/AcvGOzewd
  • + 4
Great vid was that you on the bike or were you the filmer? LOL Just cause we build sweet smooth trails doesn't mean we don't shred techy DH lines. North Shore is just over an hour away, and we have hundreds of DH trails in our back yard. Have fun!
  • + 2
wish i saw more riders getting out in the woods ,cutting new trails...i live for it. i love digging. sick video guys.
  • + 1
Had the opportunity to ride your last trail and it was one of the best trails I've ever ridden. This looks like it might rival it. Well done gentlemen.
  • + 1
Thanks! Gotta give all that trail credit to Erin and Forest on that one. Those guys are the reason I/we build. If it wasn't for godfather Hartford, we would still be making shitty skid lines into trees. The goal is to build this trail the same style and attention as the old one, but longer and sicker.
  • + 1
RIP old trail. Was my favorite in WA. Hope to get the opportunity to ride this sometime! Nice work
  • + 1
ya thats true,if you have a true passion for mt bikeing one does what they can with where and what they got.I work construction so meterials are easy to comby.
  • + 2
this should be VOD! props to the guys involved with building trails everywhere. we owe it all to you guys.
  • + 1
In New England its all rocks in the dirt! I borrow some dirt thats "Pure" for my jumps so it's not like a rock garden when I hit it.
  • + 2
VOD man, me thinks its about time for me and afew mates to have a building day like that!
  • + 1
This video is awesome! Now I have to get a bike really soon. Honestly that makes me want to ride just as much as any other video! Good stuff.
  • + 2
It's really sick when they light that fire and you can see the fire burn down the wood.
  • + 3

  • + 1
 Sure.........just a few problems 1. I live in australia 2.I'm 12 years old 3.I don't think i'll have enough momey for it
  • + 5
Well, sounds like you have the time to start building your own sweet track. If you start now you be old enough to drive shuttles when it is finished.
  • + 2
 Wish that'd be my dog!
  • + 2
Yep, she is a great dog, and loves to hang in the woods building trails or ripping laps. If you watch my other vids, you will see she is right there ripping her own lines. Don't leave home with out her.
  • + 1
 i bet she loves beer
  • + 1
Its all in a days work or a few years
  • + 1
really enjoyed watching this. really got me stoked to go build
  • + 1
Rad, that is why I take the time to shoot some film when were digging. I get so hyped to build trail, It's a whole different thing aside from riding. The more I dig, the more I get stoked about riding it. And the more I ride, the more I get stoked to dig.
  • + 1
couldnt have put it better myself. there's something about riding your own creations that just make a ride so much sweeter
  • + 1
wish my dog was like that!! Smile
  • + 2
 trail tacos
  • + 1
OH, and by the way how do I get a job at Treelines! ; )
  • + 1
Treelines is still in it underground phase. Created to generate support for builders and revenue for trails. Once gone public a percent of every piece of clothing will go back to the local trail or trail crew of the the retailer's choice. Best way to get in is to build sweet lines. Thanks!!!
  • + 1
Trail tacos sound amazing! You guys are an inspiration!
