Press Release - Commencal Launches "Ride Alpha" Components
I have a 2014 Meta AM. The Alpha bits on it aren't bad - better than a lot of own name brand kit that some bikes get specced with.

Pinkbike Poll: Should Mountain Bike Companies Consider Ditching Model Years?
Even just releasing them in the actual year of that model would be nice. You could buy a '14 Spesh back in August and now in February '14, models like the E29 are hard to get hold of or are sold out.

THAT Was a Bike: 1991 GT Xizang LE
Yeah I still have a pair of usable ones here. great little tyres (obviously depending on your terrain). A while back I emailed the guy from the "new" Onza who said: Thanks for your email, great to hear that you're still running some Porcupines! Unfortunately the model as you know it will not be re-produced, because the molds we use to make them are no longer useable. But who knows, maybe a new Porcupine will make its appearance one day... :)

THAT Was a Bike: 1991 GT Xizang LE
I wish they'd make porcupines again... I had the '93 GT Borrego with Suntour microdive 24 speed groupo. Such brilliant memories :)
