Poll: Should Downhill Mountain Biking Be an Olympic Discipline?
The problem with this is they will basically just be motocross bikes unless they set limit on weight and battery / tyres ect

Poll: Should Downhill Mountain Biking Be an Olympic Discipline?
Ofc it should be in the Olympics. All of the polls does not matter. high price? So is equestrian. accessibility? People would go.. probably become the most popular event. Location? They'd make it work. - DH biking is the ultimate kind of biking. The F1 of bikes. Seeing all the new events they added and not DH is disappointing. It should not be a popularity contest, The "Mountain Biking" I could do on my road bike. Most of them are road riders who switched. And it's basically lawn mower racing compared to DH. The BMX racing is cool. But it's 30 y/o men on kids bikes. Why would it be good to be in the Olympics? Because it deserves to be recognised. Don't care if it means more or less UCI events. Most people never get to watch DH races because it's never on TV.. you have to know when are where to watch it. If it's in the Olympics DH biking would grow and grow. A lot of people have no idea the different between MTB and DH. You can't deny it's the ultimate form of biking and be good for the sport.

Intense M9 - medium

$2250 GBP
Intense M9 FRO Downhill Mountain Bike in a size Medium - Excellent condition, extensively rebuilt and heavily upgraded. I don't check my messages here very often. For a quick response try - 07794284276 on whatsapp An absolute beauty of a bike, it has been extensively and professionally rebuilt; including fresh powder coat as close a match to original colour, updated and revised lower box link kit, genuine intense enduro bearings and a load of other fresh parts (see list & spec below). The bike is stunning, the pictures do not do the fresh paint any justice so a viewing and test ride are highly recommended. I have photos during the whole rebuild process, lovely and detailed showing exactly how thorough we are with cleaning and attention to detail. A professional strip down and total overhaul has been carried out which included; Forks serviced including SKF low friction seals, all of the frame bearings replaced, new headset bearings, new wheel bearings front & rear, freehub service & bearing replacement, new bottom bracket, new shock DU bushes, new gear outer & stainless cable, new grips, new stem, custom chain slap protection, new tyres, new brake pads and a brake bleed. Everything has been cleaned extensively and reassembled with love and care. You do not get this level of detail at your local bike shop. The suspension is buttery smooth, the brakes are firm, gears are smooth and the wheels run true; everything works as it should. The forks have been upgraded with 'FAST' black stanchions over the standard black anodised stanchions, they feel lovely and smooth. The cane creek as everyone knows is absolute magic and feels great, it's fitted with a factory issue K9 500x2.75 Race Steel Spring (Made by Eibach), these are very light & sensitive steel springs and are actually lighter and than most low end Ti springs. The bike does have some very minor blemishes in the fresh paint, but nothing you wouldn't find on a new bike. It does have some minor marks here and there to the components, but as you can see it's in great condition. There is absolutely no marks or wear on the stanchions of the fork or the shock. There are absolutely no cracks or major dings in the frame, there are some very minor dings at the very bottom of the front triangle but absolutely nothing to worry about, it is very common. The frame has been fitted with our custom chain stay protection fabric, this quietens down the chain slap noise and protects the frame well. Will not find another in this condition or spec. I believe it is around 2012-14 model. New intense stickers and fitted with helitape and a new rock guardz carbon frame protector. It rides great and feels ultra light and nimble with the deemax wheelset. This bike is ready to slay some trails...!
