thats ice cold keep riping it
ya obviously lol..what i meant was..what ski place is this? and they run the lift for dh even in the winter?
It's Laajavuori in central Finland.
We had a deal with the company and we can use lifts. We have our own trails in forest there, that we maintain. Unfortunetly we aren't allowed to ride in ski slopes.

U just have to stay on trail or front tire will fall in deep snow and u can take a guess what happens after that.
this type of fun makes up for the cold and it truly is a skill builder that many of us Canadians apprciate biking even more
Have you though of replacing your fork oil with antifreeze? xaxa Doesn't your suspension get slower in the cold weather? I haven't tested my boxxer in the snow, but to do that i have to wait for another month
If you have very heavy oils like 12w, they are too slow in cold. Some ppl changes their oils to lighter ones. I drove my Boxxer with stock oils last winter and it worked good.
he mentions up a little further on the page that he uses custom screw studs.. i was wondering the same myself and went looking through all the posts to see if i could find the answer
I personally wouldn't have made it 12 feet, he he.
there enough trails there to make a bike trip viable?
i know it wont be as big as morzine etc, but i want to combine a trip to finland with biking, and Himos seems perfect.

Himos is not open yet. It will open some time during season '08 as if I have understood correctly. Maybe you should register to http://www.ridefree.fi and ask about making trip to Finland. It's Finland's biggest MTB forum. There you will get right answers.
