I love the 30p look I hope videos can revert back to that I don't like the super stuttery 24p with high shutter speed look.
I really wish I could get a better view of the entire forest but you've got a pretty strong vignette effect on there! Anamorphic crop is sweet.
Great rider and location, loamy trail is loamy.

2.35 looks awesome, I love it and I'm with you stu bout the high shutter, 180 rule always, 24 looks good if its got the right speed!

It also really depends on the style.
Coastal Crew: smooth pans/dollies + high shutter speed = works
race events: high shutterspeed + handheld + 24p = sorta works, too shaky, 30p is best IMO
cinematic (life cycles): 180degree + very fluid 3d moving flowing shots + perfect camerawork = works
24p + high shutter + sloppy camerawork = really meh
The trend however is towards the high shutter speed, as it's easier to view on a small 360p screen, who fullscreens while they view their videos anymore? lol

haha, Ironically I'm really anal about making sure a video is totally loaded, and then fullscreening it All down to personal taste I guess! I'm really more into cinematic style stuff personally, pet hate is people using 50/60 for non slo-mo footage!

...and finally a video with proper music, I'm kinda bored of those dubstep and dance remixes.
