Fast & Fun - Windham world cup 2011

 Fast and Fun, these are the words that come to mind when I think back to the Windham world cup stage. The speed of the track made it so that the riders were able to put on a real show at every jump, bend or landing.

Witnessing Aaron Gwin winning his home stage was an incredible emotion for all of us. During the stage all rivalries were put on stop for a while it seemed. Of course, everyone absolutely wanted to win, but the joy and the enthusiasm of the local supporters turned the race into a party for everyone. The fun spread to everyone and everyone, just for a day, became American. An unforgettable experience. The fun continued also after the race when King Of the Pits was held in the paddocks, what quicly became the warm up for Crankworx. There, J.D. Swagunen won among the laughter and the beer that went with it.
