It's quite amazing to see what the GT can do on the trail, the new setup seems to be working!

The new set up was awesome! It balanced the bike out and made it much more stable! But, this was the GT last ride for now. I took her apart and am now building a steel HT! Im using all the parts from the GT and the new bike will be an all mighty fun ride! Momo and I got a good very good deal on a NS surge from our local shop and we both purchased a new bike, hahahhahhhah The NS is looking great and takes up to a 180mm fork so the 160 should be nice! Momo too is very excited! rideOn brother!

hhahhahahhahahahahhahah Thank you mate! The frames look great and our shop was really happy we bought from him rather than buying overseas like usual! We finished building them last night and hope to get a nice trial ride in this afternoon! RideOn!

I'm drooling over this trail man!

How did the GT felt, runing the 24 wheel Niko?

 Thank you Brother!

The GT with a 24 is prefect!
The 24 with the I-drive rolls over everything just as good as a 26.
I was shocked!
This trial is really rocky and I was able to ride at my normal speed.

The 24 lowers the BB a little and most of all slackens the head out to a nice FR angle!
If you have a friend with an extra 24" you might want to give it a try.
It will lower you bb and slacken you GT's head without having to buy a longer fork!

Because the i-drives superb small bump compliance I did not feel the rear getting hung up at all.

Also the corners felt awesome!
I could feel the rear ripping around the corners with ease!

Very fun!

I did however have a 160mm fork up front so that helps too but, Im sure your current set up will take it too!

But, sadly this was the GT last ride for now!
If I build her up again I well use the same build as this with the 24" and maybe a shorter fork around 140mm.

Yesterday, I took apart the GT and Momo and I have build 2 new hardtails.

We both wanted smaller bikes we could trial ride on and have fun around town.
We got a great deal on a NS surge steel frame and it will be a blast Im sure!

I used all the parts from the GT and the frame is built around a 160mm fork so its to ride like a DH hard tail, hahahhhahhahahhahh

Last night we finished building them and went for a short spin!
Amazing fun!

I've seen the new NS bikes Niko! It's perfect for you, being a freerider/dirt jump devil as you are!

As for your GT, it's sad too see her stoped for now, but one must ride what one loves best, hahahahaha!

As for my GT, I gave up buying or trying to change the specs, as it's my XC/All Mountain/Light Enduro bike and it's good for everything I ride, so I'm pretty happy with the rig, and I have the other two babies for more extreme situations when a longer travel or slacker angle is needed!

RideOn and congrats on the new hardtail man!

 Thank you brother!

I know you wanted to rake the head out some on the GT with a longer fork.
As is its the perfect AM ride for sure!

If you ever do a rear wheel is cheeper than a fork, hahahhahhaha
24" really surprised me!
Its smooth and the slacker head helps too!

If you lower the air out of your rear tire and sit on the bike its close to what the geometry would be with a 24" wheel!

RideOn!
