Hi @lindapaluc, I'm getting the feeling I am the only female actually commenting on your video.
I think your skills are amazing and I can only aspire to be as good as you but your video sure encourages me want to keep trying! I don't feel the beginning was necessary to actually get attention and it would have been cool if the focus was solely on what a badass rider you are, but I was so enthralled by the rest that I'm not focusing on it.
I have a couple questions, what pants are those? I have been trying to find a good MTB pant because I keep wiping out and despite the whole "scars are great stories", I'd like to ease up a bit on my growing battle wounds.
Second, are those flat pedals or are they flat and clipless? I was told clipless was a must but I disobeyed after constantly crashing during my first month and got myself some flats with Five Ten shoes. So far it's been the best decision and it looked like that's the way you went as well. I'm getting a little tired of being told that when I improve I will need to go back to clipless. Do you agree with that statement?
I'm currently on a hard tail because I couldn't afford a lightweight full suspension. I presume that means I won't be able to ever really conquer DH until I get a full suspension or is that silly talk?

I have Alpinestars Sight pants and they are by far the best pants I ever had.
I have flat pedals on dh and clipless on allmountain. Personaly, I don't feel comfortable with clipless on dh, but I really never tried long enough. And as i am not a racer, I think I'll be staying on flat pedals for once. About improving your riding while having clipless, I wouldn't like to say yes or no, because I have no experience.
I think that riding a hardtail is the best way to get your riding to a good level. It's definitely harder to ride, but once you switch to a full suspension bike, things get easier and you have a great feeling for the bike.
