 Yep, this is the kind of video that I love--and not just because the rider's on a steel hard tail. The beautiful but straightforward way it's put together suggests the most essential part of MTB, at least to me: Riding as smooth and fast as you can, yes (and this guy kills it), focus and challenge, sure--but also simply being "out in the woods" as the sun goes down and the light in the trees changes, eating a sandwich in some far-off fire lookout before getting back to it... We're lucky to have a sport with many mansions, many--and not mutually exclusive--ways to enjoy it and derive meaning from it. But this, when it comes to why I ride, is at its core...
