Other bike brands: support as many riders as necessary to sell as many bikes as possible. Max Commencal: sell as many bikes as necessary to support as many riders as possible.

Its all fashion. The kids do what the pros are doing and the pros wear what their sponsor pays them to wear

Review: SRAM's New Maven Brakes - The Big Brake
So DOT is still the superior brake fluid, just not for low end brakes and for the really powerful high end brakes. That totally does makes sense and doesn't sound like they recently figured out that bicycle brakes work better on mineral oil and are now slowly moving their lineup to mineral oil without admitting their current DOT brakes are shit

@shlotch: thanks for pointing that out, I didn't realize the range had that until now. Yes, bolt on dropouts are sick, bring them back

Raaw Releases UDH Retrofit Kit for All Jibbs & Madonnas
I have not seen a single bike with udh and chainstay adjustment on the market. The requirements for the rear derailleur to rotate backwards makes it impossible to use the classic flip chip adjustment design. It's sad, but I think SRAM has killed adjustable chainstays

2023 Red Bull Rampage Riders List Announced
I don't see a reason for not inviting him. He's clearly a fan favorite at every world cup, still has the world cup pace and a big bag of tricks and does some freeride events. It's like that kid is made for rampage. Same for Goldstone

Interview: Downhill Wheel Tech with Reynolds
@Mtbdialed: I'm gonna be that guy now and say, Bernard would have been able to ride it out if the wheel didn't fail. If you look at the video frame by frame you can see the wheel exploding before the fork even bottoms out. I'd say the impact of Fabio Wibmers Lyon 25 and Brages Jah Drop was even higher. In both cases a lot of stuff broke, but the wheels kept spinning

The Pinkbike Podcast: BMX Backgrounds & Breaking Bikes with Taj Mihelich
I think 12 speed eagle drivetrains should get more shit for breaking and bending all the time. They are so close to the ground, yet so fragile, it is inacceptable. Especially the issues with the irreplaceable clutch that gets weak. And I would love to see more durable parts. I don't need the most precise shifting performance out of the box if I ride with a slightly bend derailleur most of the time. Honestly pinkbike should do a field test with a fleet of bikes that has been trashed a season in whistler bike park, just to see which components still work the best if they are not brand new anymore
