 Trust me I where a helmet most of the time. But for little rides like this I don't. I've probably jumped off of that porch over a hundred times

 ok that's fair enough but what about the time you go a little too fast and fall off sideways and bang your head on the stairs or concrete pavement

 Well luckily that hasn't happened yet haha. Fair enough, man. It never hurts to stay on the safe side. I probably should always wear my helmet

 yeah, i am just a bit queasy when it comes to blood and stuff so always wear a helmet... having said that my shins are covered in scars from where i should have worn knee/shin pads but didn't

 I hear that, man. I've only hit my head once in all the biking I've ever done, and fortunately I was wearing a helmet when I did. Was up in Colorado riding downhill dj trails and got overconfident. Took one jump a little too fast, the ticket flipped forward and me and my bike went tumbling down the other side of the jump. Some guy watched my wreck and he was all like "Dude are you ok?! Looked like you broke your collarbone!" I stood up and checked to make sure I was still in one piece, then coasted back down to the car. I had dented my helmet and had a mild concussion. Had a few scrapes but didn't break anything. Could've been a lot worse. And the best part is there is a giant hospital literally across the street from the bike park. I'm sure that's not a coincidence

 hahaha yeah i did that once and came off lightly as well but i was cliped in racing 4x so it wasn't that fun at all cause i landed upside down with the bike still attached

 Haha yeah that's my grandparents house. I live next door I ride up on their porch all the time just for kicks and giggles

 And what do your grandparents think of this riding you do on their porch Hahaha you should encourage them to ride too!

  usually whenever they hear a THUD sound then they know I'm out there on the porch. Then they usually come out and sit on the swing and I visit with them for a while. I love them but they are beyond the age of cycling anymore haha
