2015.11.08 - my pumptrack - clockwise

just finished the track and getting a feel for the lines. this is oppo for me but the flow feels better i think. anyways, lot's of work, but full of reward.

 Sweet, and smooth...good idea with the cement. Wonder if I could sneak something like this into my yard, tell my wife it's part of the new landscape, haha.

 nothing to it but to do it.
i'll get a shot this summer when the plants are out. hides the track a bit.
bigger yard would be better [for mtb] as this works best on 20" wheels [way faster, flowier, easier to make the transitions cleaner at the hip, out of the bowl both ways, and over the sidewalk less the bridge there, without packing into the boulders everywhere].
i had this running in dirt / clay for abut 6 years, adjusting, changing, making the lines work both ways [twice the track!] until i poured the concrete sections for good. no changes now. i'm going to add 3 movable metal whoops along the long straight sidewalk as well to throw out a manual along the way for good measure.
loads of fun and right out the door. hell of a workout for a rusty pedal like me, but mostly keeps us primed up too for anything ...
