Whistler Bike Park Crash- And then a kid got in the way

Reminder: Please always be aware of your surrounding while getting on a trail from where you are not supposed to. This time aside breaking my phone and knocking my head pretty hard everyone is fine but things could have easily turn out differently for both of us. Don't be the one who make it happens again next. Use your common sense on the trails.

Ok man, this sucks... but.... You didn't slow down. You didn't yell out to them or anything. You just rode straight into them when you could have gone off to the side. Honestly looks you ran into them like this just to spite them because they cut you off.

The kid was still at fault

I honestly thought once he would have pass under the rope he would move out of the way so I can pass. You can see me trying to go by his right at first, then realized he was keeping going that way and shifted to pass him on his left but then he backed up and cut my opening, hence the collision. I never meant to hit him, why would I? It's the freaking first weekend of the season why would I want to risk getting hurt and be done for the year. But Whistler Bike Park is a ZOO! Too many time I have seen last weekend people stopping right on jumps and drops and not paying any attention at riders coming down. New riders has to learn how to behave on trails and this video is a reminder of why it is important. Good riders already got hurt badly because of newbies acting dangerously and this has to stop.

@BikeNRide4Fun: Fair enough, sorry I was a bit of a dick.

I was riding Whistler on some uncrowded, rainy days last year, and I was still extremely hesitant to stop and look at some of the drops and jumps throughout the park, just knowing how fast and blindly people can come up on you. I couldn't imagine riding the park when it's crowded like on opening weekend.

why was he doing that in the first place?!

He must have thought he was a deer i dont know. I ended up knocking myself pretty hard on the crash and I didn't really talk to them aside asking the kid if he was alright. I got my shit back together and got back on my way but I should definitely have talked to the mother to see what the f*ck they were doing there and make them understand how more badly it could have turned.
