Seriously this has to be VOD.LIke about 5 times they were inches away from being crushed between cars, they were dodging people and other bikers, and at full speed.That was so intense.
Thats so neat, Drivers in my city would just run you over if you made them slow down.

i love my city, seriously though. NYC is the best place to do human slalom races and traffic slalom races. Biking fast in between cars is the shit. I mannualed through times square once, shit was scary haha.
ive seen this soo many times..and yet it still looks cool..makes me want to get a trak bike..cant always use my mtb on the road..

I think this would be sick with downhill bikes and really short bars, it would be more comfortable and if you hit anyone chances are your bike would be less damaged than a roadbike, fuk the pedestrians they are infutile and useless! VOD VOD VOD!!!!
of course, the 10 inches of travel and the 2.5 inch tire would be so much faster than a fully rigid bike with road tires...
to be honest he didnt say it would be faster, just that it would "be sick". Frankly it would just give a bad name to mountain bikers as well; fixies can keep their rep, i'll keep mine! Thanks.

If you crash you would probably be more worried about your own body getting wrecked. As for the manholes and bumps, they don't really have to worry about it with their technical skills, they can easily maneuver around them.
You would not want DH bikes with this - bars are too wide - tires are too thick - DOWNHILL = DOWNHILL not streets - and these guys are awesome - showing the rest of the lazy asses in New York how to get around - BIKE REVOLUTION

When riding in the city, you have to worry mostly about yellow cabs, cause they drive like maniacs and they don't care about anyone else. I like hanging onto buses and get speed like that. Manholes and bumps are not really a problem, it's those big metal plates and the white paint on crosswalk, because when they're a little bit wet, they get really slippery.

Lovely vid! I was a courier in my city ,that's a hard work ,but really nice ! Later I spent 2 years in London riding on the bike all the times between cars , buses and this feel when You go faster and faster , cars riding around You , oh yeah! This is great !

pff a downhill bike would be shit for this...but..I think a XC bike could be better for this with slicks or semi-slick tires and a rigid or 80mm fork.. because the seating possition gives u more control( but if ur not human like the guys in the video it doesnt matter) and if u fit disk brakes or even good V-brakes it will brake so much better and its easier to get to the brake levers and to stop more quickly.
i wonder how many of them are riding fixies!? that one guy on the bridge was ridin fixie but idk about the rest

no i'm in agreement with tiny2, this is what gives bikers a bad name, and what makes cops so twitchy when it comes to cyclists (an incident on a pinkbike video where there was like a fixie rally and one got knocked off his bike by the police! I felt sorry for the dude but if he rides anything like this, he deserves what he gets!) I know i'm going to get mad negative propped for this but this is the WORST type of riding, it endangers others, not just yourself, and it requires a certain amount of luck: it's not all skill. Most of all it is all TOTALLY illegal! NOT COOL.

This is really insane, im tryin to ride through The Hague but the problem here is that most of the drivers bought their licence for a bottle of whiskey, they dont look around and just throw their cars from side to side.
Even when tryin to get to work i may die , i might make a movie also but dont expect anyhing like this. The cars in this movie respect the bikers and they ride different then in this country.
But i love this kind of crazyness
