More motored-cycles! Bravi! Why don;t you give up on bicycling all together?

@frorider2: no, but like the Bosch, they are going around the regulation about class two (throttle). You can have up to 10" burst with the Bosh without pedaling at all. Give it time and they'll come up with a controller that lets you just motor around. Effectively we are now looking at small and powerful motor-cycles.

Closer and closer to full-on motor-cycles. 85nM (a pinion box on a different model), and, barely discussed here (is it shame?) the "pedal assist" option not to pedal at all. I love the comment "should have plenty of juice for the way back up the hill". With 85nM you barely need to pedal, might as well buy a moto-crosser. The bicycle industry is happily self-destructing for profit, helped by little megaphones like Pinkbike, and caring none about pollution.

Never really understood why there is no ultralight option for a backpack. I built one myself using dyneema and it weights about 2 ounces and it carries one liter of waters and tools ...

Weird but no surprise. The "bicycle" industry is gearing up to simple destroy the idea or bicycling. They are little by little trying to sell everybody motored-cycles. They can charge more, and, by promising an effort free sport (like ... motorcycling), sell more by appealing to people lowest denominator. I so hope we all wake up from this little nightmare: trails and roads that used to be bicycled taken over by polluting motored-vehicles.

The pretense is coming off, with 85nM you barely have to pedal up-hill. Forget bicycling you are riding a (heavy and polluting) motored-cycle. Why on earth we are reading about this crap on a bicycle web-magazine is hard to figure.

Same problem here, but because of neck problems with my short stack medium Ibis HD3 (600 mm) I need to use a riser AND spacers. 40 mm + 25 riser (sigh).
