Tech Randoms: La Thuile XC World Cup 2026
Second photo from the top "Every gram counts". That is a standard click valve cover, little piece of rigid rubber that goes on with a ... click.

Tech Randoms: The New Yeti LT, Mass Dampers, & Silver Hubs at the La Thuile EDR
New Yeti looks great, although the downtube could be a bit smaller. Anyway, can't wait until it trickles down the line into shorter travel Yetis.

The Future of Enduro, Trade Shows, and Mountain Bikes
E-bikes are going the more than obvious direction: so much power that any delusion that they are remotely related to bicycles becomes laughable. And so people realize that they are really buying motor-cycles, But people still want bicycles because, you know, they are nice, and don't have engines, and don't need to recharge, and they are light and easy and always ready, and they don't try to kill you because you can go 35mPH wearing a bicycle helmet. And and so it goes: the e-bike frenzy comes to an end. All this was quite predictable, and it would have been nice to recognize the unavoidable power surge trajectory (in four years from 40/60 nM to 80, to 120, 150, soon 200) instead of indulging the bike industry.

16 Rare and Funky Finds from the Pinkbike BuySell
What a load of crap. Those, with the exception of the DW Turner from 2010, are really the bottom of the barrel. There were much better bikes at the end of the last millennium!

Final Randoms - Eurobike 2026
Not sure what is wrong with pinkbike and the obsession with engines. Tired muscles? And bicycles are eco-mobile. Engine powered bicycles, tricycles or automobiles are not.

Video: Powerful eCVTs From Gobao and Avinox, a 32" Aero XC MTB, Plus Palate-Cleansers - Eurobike 2026
I though my pinkbike filter excluded motorized bikes? It is so annoying to have to read about engines and motorcycles instead of bicycles. Especially when the news is how far those are getting from any vestigial similarity with MTB. Ride them and enjoy but please don't put them down our throats.

Jessie-May's Final Randoms - Eurobike 2026
@vinay: I know I know. "And power to weight ...". The current Avinox peaks around 1300 Watts, or roughly 1.8 Hp. My first legal motocrosser had 1.5 Hp, at three to four times the weight.

Jessie-May's Final Randoms - Eurobike 2026
So boring to go through pages and pages of motored-cycles, all Pinkbike has shown from Eurobike. But interesting to see that the industry is already flying above the 150 nM mark. A power to weight ratio already well above my first street legal motorcycle of decades ago.
