I've been running 800 mm bars for the better part of a decade, and I want a little more. There aren't a whole lot of 820 mm options, and I'm hoping to probe the bike nerd knowledge base to expand what I know.

Right now I'm running Oneup bars and I really appreciate the damping properties. I see other 820 carbon bars, but worry they'll be too stiff. So this has me thinking about custom titanium tuned for damping in some way. I don't care so much about weight, but ~30mm rise and 820 mm width is what I'm looking for. Nothing too crazy on sweep, I don't have a mustache and don't regularly wear jortz.

Any ideas on where to look or who to ask? I expect it'll be several hundred USD, but can anyone more accurately represent the cost range I'd be looking at?

Try getting ahold of Merriweather cycles.
I know he does an 800mm wide, 20mm rise Ti bar, but he makes and bends the bars himself so he might be able to do custom work if you ask. Only downside is they are a 22.2mm clamp.

Myth cycle Lomoto Ti bars. I have a set on my bike @ 840mm for my wide arms, best bars I have ever owned. Check the pics on my profile to see them.

Too bad you're looking so wide or the Thomson Ti Riser bar would work, but alas it's only 800.

Thomson ti bars weigh a ton and only go upto 780mm in 15mm rise only.

Myth seem to be outta stock on s regular basis and are mega steep $$$ wise.

If you can go Ti then it is worth the wait all day every day.

Per the Thomson website:

HB-E113 15mm Riser 8° Back 4° Up 31.8mm 800mm
345 grams

$350 will be circa what you will pay for the Myths.

Could get their steely version at $120

Thanks for the info. Sounds like the lomoto bars are an option. I see a lot of the wider ti bars with an additional parallel support bar. Why is this? How come there is a prevalence of narrower diameters?

Xacd could probably get you one for cheap. If you don't care about cost maybe not the best option.

Yea my priorities ranked beginning with highest importance are:

820mm
Same or better damping than oneup bar
Some rise
Not a weird clamping dimension
Weight
Cost
