Hi there.

Quick question: does Titanium count as raw/polished?

Cheers

Cheers....see if I can find a decent picture.
I have just made my first attempt to strip anodizing/sanding/polishing a seatpost and I have made a mess out of it!!!
I'll try again later, maybe with some scotchpads.....

"Raw / Polished - Bikes & Frames - No paint allowed"

I would interpret the heading as any material in its Raw finish that is not painted.

Steel
Aluminium
Titanium
Wood
Carbon
Bamboo
Micarta
Plastic
etc

Or caustic soda.

Cheers! I used drain cleaner with no success. Ended up sanding it down by hand but still a bit of residue left at the edges.
Will try oven cleaner and fine grain sand paper.
The oven needs a good clean too, so happy days....

Hi. Here's my paint-less bike (although some bits are black or white)

I made a mess with the seatpost so I'm taking it to somebody who knows what he's doing for deanodizing and applying some clear cerakote for protection.

That’s one of the sickest bikes I’ve seen for a while. Really nice looking whip.
