nah, never played with the belt, only chain, bashguard should be sitting even lower then if you want to protect the tensioner so then it really make no sense. But hey, i ve solved your problem, you need elastic belt, thank me later when you get rich :)

@pyromaniac: i mean, i ve managed to get it work but then the tensioner is sitting so low under BB that it doesnt make any sense, you ll get it destroyed ob first obstacle

been playing with an idea of front tensioner for 2 years now, many 3d printed iterrations and conclusion is, front tensioner doesnt go well with low pivot frames. If you find a solution please share :)

Thanks buddy, this was sitting in friends barn for almost 15 years. The bike is in overall good condition due to its age. All parts are original except one hayes brake is replaced with shimano and tires are not correct but finding those would be nearly impossibile. Also i want to ride ride that bike from time to time so dont need 20 years old tires. Also someone thought it would be good idea to can spray the boxxer in black....yuck. If someone is having lower legs for this boxxer in red, PM me cause these are ruined.
