Yes and yes.

Just learn to brake before the rough stuff, you're riding will improve 10 fold.

Yeah, the perps and judges get brakejack and the float system does not alleviate all of it. Seat Buzz? Don't slam your seat down, problem solved.

What do you use that bike for? I always thought it was an all mountain bike but the way you set it up makes it look like a freeride bike. How is it for DH?

It is for all mountain, it's just a lot more durable with my build. I do some pretty rough descents with it, and the components make it a burlier bike.

It's awesome for DH. With the forks fully extended, it gives me a 65 degree HA which handles the downhill stuff pretty damn well. The coil shock that replaced the air is a lot better for big hits as well. I've hit some 15 foot doubles, 8 foot drops, and everything in between and it works perfectly.

It weighs about 35 lbs.... I wanted a bike that could do everything, and the Moto I built is capable of climbing up like a goat and bombing down kamikaze style. Instead of trying to put a DH/FR bike on a diet, I put an AM bike on steroids.
