First Ride: Bold Unplugged Volume 2
I’d love to spend some time on one these to see if they ride as good as they look. Confused by review though. With geometry numbers like that and 150mm of rear travel, why does it come across like the bike wouldn’t be suited for bike parks/enduro racing? Lots of shorter travel, steeper, and shorter bikes are consistently raced in the EWS. Is it something about how this one rides that makes it feel less agressive, than a stumpjumper or a sentinel?

Super Alloy Racing 400 lb. Spring, Super Deluxe

Hey I bought this spring for a bike that never arrived. My loss is your gain. It was never used. This coil and the POMs it comes with is lighter weight than a standard coil by about half a pound, and is closer to the stated spring rate than all other coils on the market. Cheap way to drop weight on your bike, and accurately get the suspension setup you want. Super Alloy Racing does a good job. Fits all Rockshox Super Deluxe Coil shocks, and has a spring rate of 400 lbs. Let me know if you have any questions. SAR

First Ride: The 2019 Cannondale Habit is Shockingly Normal
Pretty common. Haven’t found a bike sold with eagle that comes with an appropriate sized chainring yet. The intention was to run a bigger ring, but in reality, I guess the average person just wants an easier gear or two with the same high end.

Specialized Stumpjumper Ohlins Coil w/ i9s

Selling my carbon 2018 Specialized Stumpjumper Coil, size XL. The frame is a translucent purple color, and you can see the carbon under the paint on a sunny day. I bought the bike new in November 2017, and it has been well maintained since then. In 10 years of riding, this has been by far my favorite bike I've owned, and its been great on long XC days in Sedona and bike park laps at Windrock, and everything in between. It has the lighter S-Works frame compared to other carbon stumpjumpers, and a super rugged build that I put together to last for miles on gnarly trails and enduro racing. Fork and Shock both serviced by Specialized in June, and they reamed out the fork bushings then to correct the problem that the Ohlins forks had with excess friction. Suspension is working incredibly, and the coil fork is unaffected by the recent recall. Notable upgrades include the i9/Stans Flow wheels I built for it, replacing the guides with codes and bigger rotors, the bigger range e13 cassette, and the rad gold chromag stem. Brake pads and tires have plenty of life left in them. Top tube sticker can either be removed, or I can give you the spares I have in case it starts to peel. I'm about 6' 1" and 160lbs, and in its current state, the bike is set up pretty perfect for me. I have a few random springs laying around I'll give you with the bike as well, and a set of new bearings for the frame that I never got around to installing.
