Transition Sentinel (XL)

$2000 USD
Selling my aluminum Sentinel, bought new in February 2019 from The Bicycle Shop Inc. in State College, PA. Size XL, Pinot Noir color. Comes with new tires of your choice! Not much changed from the stock alloy GX complete build, the only added the MRP chainguide and swapped to 200mm rotors. Full specs below. The bike has no dents, just the occasional scratches and rub marks. Mechanic owned. Bike fits me pretty good at 6' 1". Definitely a bike that can be ridden hard down, and still pedal back up without too much effort, at a great price point. Like I say below, if you have a tire preference (Maxxis or Specialized), I'll set you up with new ones with the bike. If not, I can cut the price a little and you can pick from my used collection. Frame: Sentinel Alloy XL (140mm rear travel) Shock: Fox DPX2 Performance Elite Fork: Fox 36 Grip 2 Performance Elite Headset: FSA No.57E Stem: RaceFace Aeffect R 40mm Handlebar: RaceFace Chester 35 (780mm x 35mm) Grips: Specialized Lock-Ons Saddle: ANVL Forge Cromo Seatpost: RockShox Reverb Stealth 1x Remote (170mm) Brakes: SRAM Code RSC Rotors: SRAM Centerline (200m) Shifter: SRAM GX Eagle Derailleur: SRAM GX Eagle Cassette: SRAM XG 1275 (10-50t) Chain: SRAM GX Eagle Crank: SRAM Descendant 7k DUB (170mm x 34t (I'll throw in a brand new 30t too)) Chainguide: MRP AMg Wheelset: Stans Flow S1 Team (Rear rim is a Flow MK3, with fresh spokes and nipples, never ridden) Tires: You pick! (Any Maxxis or Specialized tire you want, I'll include new with the bike) Thanks for looking. Let me know if you have any questions or want additional pictures.

Video: Richie Rude vs. The OneUp Office
The 2:28 KOM is also Richie from an earlier date. Doubt he beat his own time while battling it out with 6 people on the way down.

First Ride: Bold Unplugged Volume 2
I’d love to spend some time on one these to see if they ride as good as they look. Confused by review though. With geometry numbers like that and 150mm of rear travel, why does it come across like the bike wouldn’t be suited for bike parks/enduro racing? Lots of shorter travel, steeper, and shorter bikes are consistently raced in the EWS. Is it something about how this one rides that makes it feel less agressive, than a stumpjumper or a sentinel?

Super Alloy Racing 400 lb. Spring, Super Deluxe

$50 USD
Hey I bought this spring for a bike that never arrived. My loss is your gain. It was never used. This coil and the POMs it comes with is lighter weight than a standard coil by about half a pound, and is closer to the stated spring rate than all other coils on the market. Cheap way to drop weight on your bike, and accurately get the suspension setup you want. Super Alloy Racing does a good job. Fits all Rockshox Super Deluxe Coil shocks, and has a spring rate of 400 lbs. Let me know if you have any questions. SAR

First Ride: The 2019 Cannondale Habit is Shockingly Normal
Pretty common. Haven’t found a bike sold with eagle that comes with an appropriate sized chainring yet. The intention was to run a bigger ring, but in reality, I guess the average person just wants an easier gear or two with the same high end.
