1. Suspension forks designed with user adjustable trail at the axle. 2.Frames with adjustable headangles. But I recently found these guys. https://www.workscomponents.co.uk/20-degree-ec44-zs56-angle-headset---to-suit-tapered-steerer-tube-945-p.asp
I think it would be cool to see electronic shifting for gearbox bikes. It would simplify the cockpit by getting rid of the two cables and you could have under the bar shifting rather than grip shift.
Genius ideas. My favorite is the dropper post that doesn't require you to sit on it. Sometimes it can be annoying to sit down especially if you need to drop it on a steep downhill.
I would like someone to make a cvt gearbox for bikes; no shifting required, infinite gear ratios. But would be costly to engineer to fit on a bike with weight/size compromises.

a little while ago i heard of someone experimenting with adjustable offset on a duel crown fork. not sure how it was designed but sounded very interesting.
One other thing that I think would be cool is more use of drones in DH coverage. Not really an invention, but I think it would be super sick to have them follow along a set line that has been pre-recorded into their memory, and just follow that line while staying something like 20 feet behind the rider using some sort of proximity sensor. I'm sure you could get away with just a few drones and have them follow a rider down certain parts of the track and fly back up to the top or a checkpoint on the track to get their battery's swapped out and get reoriented for another run.

I have heard that a few major companies are starting to play with offsets. I am not sure how far they are going to take it.
