Does anyone know why electronic shifting hasn't been used on gearbox bikes? Seems like a good way to get rid of the twist shift.

Final Results - EWS Northstar 2019
Not sure how well this would work, but it would be sick to see riders with GoPros somehow connecting them to their phones and live streaming their race runs. I guess the biggest issue would be getting a consistent connection with good image quality, but setting up a temporary infrastructure for cell service is probably comparatively easier than setting up cameras to record and live stream 20 minutes of racing over several stages. Probably a great way for racers to promote themselves as well.
