Best battery powered chainsaw?

I've managed just fine with the hackzall and a 12" pruning blade though. Way easier to carry through the trails.

We use a Stihl at work, it is surprisingly powerful but it was spendy !

Bought that Milwaukee when it came out. Super happy with it, tons of power, doesn't bog at all, great battery life.

I love my Sthil. With the stock bar and chain It's like having a silent carvers/arborist saw. Even if I have a bigger gas saw with me I find myself grabbing it for plunge cuts or shaping then forgetting to put it back down.

I've been using a Ryobi 12" battery saw and it works well above its paygrade.

The Milwaukee is great. It runs strong, quiet, and for a long time with the 12 amp hour battery. I like that the battery runs a ton of different tools (which I already had for work).

I have the twin battery brushless makita saw. I can normally get around an hour of cutting 8” branches from one charge. Like others have said I have makita battery tools for work so it made sense for me to stick with that platform. Totally happy with the power of it though

We have Dewalt since we already had a bunch of batteries for our other tools. Works fine for smaller/softer wood, great for lumber, but would not even try to cut down a 12in maple with that. We have work saws for that.

I'm enjoying using my Husqvarna 536lixp for trail work. It really works the battery, but I've cut up to a 17" tree with the 14" bar.

I love it too, started working on a log supported bench cut and it can really cut a lot of material with 1 charge. I wouldn't do such a project without it, for sure.

I thought about getting a battery powered chainsaw. The little DeWalt one uses the same batteries as all my other DeWalt tools but went with a Silky Bigboy pull saw instead. For the times when I need an actual chainsaw I just rent one. The Silky works so good I’m thinking of getting a Katana Boy which has a 500mm blade.

I have an Ego 14” and absolutely love it. Definitely put it through it’s paces over the past few years and is still going strong.
