Sanded down all the paint and cleaned paint work getting it dust free..
1st coat etch.. Then keyed it with scotch pad.. Next a 2pk high build aluminium primer..
If I get time tomorrow I'll sand down and paint top coat and lacquer.

1st coat.. 2pk etch

2nd coat.. 2pk epoxy high build aluminium primer

Thanks...but they are going to be painted matt black or gloss black..
as I got these from nldesigns...
Now I don't know if I should paint the lowers matt black or gloss- semi gloss as the decals are a little glossy and I think it might be a little odd with the gloss decals on matt paint???I've got a few little decals to paint over and see what happens

I've done about 6 pairs of 36's in satin white with glossy decals, it looks fine.
Fox black tends to be satin in finish rather than gloss anyway, so in satin black with the gloss decals they'll just look factory.

That fork looks beauty!!! I just got my crank and fork decals from NLD, nice stuff, matched my frame color very well on the fork decals for my 40, and he gives ya free ID decals with your order!

Hey guys, methods for stripping and repainting my gold (polished) handlebars?
I'm not worried about the Kore/Rivera logos as I found the finishing to be kinda poor on these...
photo

And also, decal set on my 831s - would it better if I removed the stickers first or just straight up put my new ones over the previous ones? Anyone ever ordered a sticker set from these guys? https://www.stickerblimp.com/shop/category/fox-shocks/

I know the official Fox guys are MOJO here in the UK, but £20 is pretty steep..

Sorry about the quality of the photo guys, though it is fundamentally a potato, the lighting doesnt do the picture much favour :L
