I think the Scott Scholarship was the most similar thing we had back then. A school friend did it in probably 99 and 2000 and it cost him about £2k a season back then.

Come to the UK, I live in a pretty basic village in a rural county and we’ve got about 3 pump tracks in a short drivable distance. There are also 3 I know of just in the nearest city.

@jimmythehat: the sentence up the top that the riders had “not to have been beaten consistently by one of the other riders on the list” means Peaty (and I love him) shouldn’t be on the list because Nico had him matched more often than not. Nico and ACC are the best of all time for me, and for a Brit to say that about the frenchies shows how mad they were back then.

Connor seems like a good guy, I don’t know much about Forbidden but an old mate of mine works for them here in the UK (shout out Toby) and he’s sound AF, so assuming the rest of the guys are like that they must be a great team to work with.
