NS Bikes - 2011 parts and frames

Mar 23, 2011
by NS Bikes
As this news is being published, all the new 2011 components should be arriving at stores around the world. The new product line includes some completely revised frames and new finishes for all of the products. The most important changes for this year were in the frame department. The Suburban and Majesty hardtails are now both available in two versions - street / park and dirt / slope. Today's riders are more demanding and they really know what they want. That is why a decision was made to make sure everyone can have a frame that suits their particular style.

The new line of Suburbans. For 2011 available in street and slope versions. Both models come with integrated headset standard only.

The 2011 Majesty street/park frame has a Spanish BB system and extremely short rear end. The dirt/slope version has a standard Euro BB and is optimized for bigger forks and high speed tricks.

Profiled chainstay and seatstay bridges that are now featured in the Suburban and Majesty look sweet and give much more tire clearance.

The whole line of hubs has been revised and arranged into a more logical range. All hubs are now called Rotary, and apart from being super sturdy thanks to replacing all small bolts and QR's with big female axle systems, they also have a very unique shape that is shared by the whole line.

Silver-blue is the new black!

The 2011 Proof and Mint handlebars are now bigger and taller than ever.

Sam Pilgrim seems very happy to be running the whole new line of NS kit:

What's more - a completely new NS website has just gone live. It was an huge project for the design team, and this time, instead of trying to make the most fancy flash effects, the website focuses on showing the products properly and presenting as much information as possible.

The site is being updated and fine tunes as we speak, so if you guys find any problems give NS a shout.

Go to www.nsbikes.com to see the result.

RIDE!

i have the 2010 maj does anyone knoow if any if the geometry has changed?all i know they shaved a couple grams.
  • 1 0
kind of. the dirt frame is basically last years model with this years colours. but the park frame has quite a few changes.
It's got a slightly steeper head tube ( I believe its 69.5 degrees or something like that) and it's got shorter chain stays. smaller wheelbase and a higher BB. the bridges are different this year too. From what I've heard, the Geo of the park version is almost exactly like the 24 sub.

  • 1 0

dont get why they went from campy spec headsets one year in the analog, to normal style, and this year back to campy!
  • 2 0
From what I see Analog frames (campy) and complete bikes (loose ball) had always different headsets... At least in 2010 and 2011.
