damn the anticipation for this is driving me mental. no event comes close to this world cup races or otherwise, and the way everybody is chirping about fairclough's line makes it seem like if he can nail it with a trick or two he's going to take it. i want to see him whip it off the canyon gap on his line then nac the oakley sender. caint wait to watch this and thank baby hezikiah for letting everybody watch the stream and not have to wait til later to have that knock sal masekala annouce and comment on a sport he know nothing about.

So much POD worthy material in here! That shot of Lacondeguy is nuts!
  • 30
Agreed, don't they know about Tippie and Rob Warner as announcers...or anybody who actually rides or gives two sh*ts about the sport. Sal Masekala is awful for action sports. I can't stand him for X-Games and especially not for my beloved mountain biking. He would probably be a fine drive-thru attendant at Taco Bell, don't get me wrong.

 Armed security. Seriously?
  • 62
Yes. Just like any popular, televised event in the US. Whither you see them or not, they're usually there, but Riga just got a pic this time. There are crazies everywhere, and plenty in Utah... 1911 FTW!

seriously, you only need guns in life if you think you need them. They are not required anywhere. In canada(quebec), most popular event have security gards, yes. unarmed ones and there are police wondering around if shit start, wich normally doesn,t. No conterstrike dude with handgun...

Wow. Perceived safety guarantees actual safety, huh?
Must be wonderful to live in THAT perfect world.
And for the record, I THINK I need them. My right.

GREAT PICS RIGA!

  • 30
so europe is "THAT perfect world" right?
  • 61
dont count out canada!, togood2die stop your euro hate bullshit nobody wants to hear it
  • 14
Aww. Butthurt. And no, I'm not hating at ALL, it is simply a reflection of policy and mindset that I speak to, NOT the people. I love all men, I just don't love all ideas.

What DID happen to Smith today?
  • 20
LMFAO yeah that's nuts. I'm sure an FMB comp in nowhere's middle is gonna be high on the priority list of targets for whacky Shi'ite heads to open up a can of Jihad all over some infidels.

 The photos are amazing ...

Whats the word on Atherton? He riding this year?
  • 31
He posted some pics to his FB wall of him digging in a desert, so I assume so
  • 40
Hes injured his ankle , strapped it up and on crutches , not sure if hes riding sunday yet.
  • 12
Gee? He's on yesterday's building pics doing just fine.
  • 21
on the other gallery hes on crutches so I'm afraid he wont be killing it this year Frown
  • 31
sam hill should take his spot
  • 10
I'm just hoping that not riding friday and saturday lets him get it ok to at least attempt a run. If he can and rides it smooth like last Rampage he won't need a second, and if well rested maybe his ankle can take a 30 sec run. After all his line should be pretty smooth regardless of the big hucks he has, it's his personal style. Anyhow, fingers crossed, it'd be a bummer not to see him ride, plus I don't know what would Clay Porter base his Four By Three 3rd episode on then.

are we going to have a live broadcast for qualifications ?
  • 50
Sadly looks like no. We're going to miss a great show. Hopefully at least somebody will come with some kind of highlights video on saturday that do quali justice.
  • 41
BOO. NO STREAM OR TELECAST IN THE US. BOO.
  • 20
The event will be streamed in the US, just redirected from the Red Bull website to a NBC site. Qualies though are not streamed for anyone.
  • 31
Is this being livestream on PB?
  • 10
What the hell are those line clouds in the second picture??????
  • 10
com trail / chem trail, who knows.
  • 10
 Con[densation] trails left by airliners
  • 21
Those are chemtrails, contrails disappear very quickly after the plane whereas chemtrails hang in the air for hours afterwards. They have been found to contain strontium, barium and aluminium oxide. It's part of a worldwide geo engineering program. The world needs to wake up, they need to stop messing with the planet and our lives.
  • 22
lol, keep smoking the crack son.
  • 10
I am about your age and as a kid used to watch the trails disappear after the plane not so much anymore, watch just a couple of many vids of or just keep wearing the woolly glasses mate.
