After Blenkinsop's 3rd place overall finish last year and Cam's amazing year up until breaking his wrist in Champery where he was placed in the top 10 overall, the pressure was on to deliver in the first World Cup for Team Lapierre International. Sam Blenkinsop, a notorious slow starter in the World Cup found the track didn't suit him that well but managed to put in a solid start, whilst Cam Cole found the track a lot more to his liking with a top 15 finish.
Im thinking of buying either zesty 314 or the 514 anybody have one of these. or can give me some advice please. they look the biz but know nothing about the bikes ie are they any good ?.
The Zestys are sick. I rode one last season and loved it. Pedals awesome, and is super fun on the downhill. If you can afford it go with the 514 as it has a real nice spec and you save a good chunk of weight. If you have any questions shoot me a message.
Hello mate thanks for reply. To be honest i am thinking about three bikes at the moment. They are the spicy 516 zesty 514, And a cube stereo race 2011 really not sure which one to go for ?. And advice would be great thank you.
Well it all comes down to what type of riding your doing. If you like a bit more peddling go with the zesty. If your more into the all mountain/downhill side of things go with the spicy. I will be getting on a 514 this yeah (rode last years 314) and i loved it for my more cross county/light all mountain riding. That zesty climbs like an animal!
And this is a total Armchair Quarterback comment but if Sam wasn't able to stay on the pedals shouldn't he have clipped in?
