2011 marks a new beginning for downhill and 4X racing as we launch the new ChainReactionCycles.com/Nukeproof race team of Matti Lehikonen, Matt Simmonds, Joe Smith, Lewis Buchanan, Lukas Mechura and Michael Mechura.
After three very successful years as the ChainReactionCycles.com/Intense team, it was the end of an era and time for a change. While co-sponsors continue as in previous years, the team will now be riding and racing NukeProof bikes – Scalp for downhill, Snap for 4X and Mega for enduro downhill events and training.
On the downhill roster, Matti Lehikonen and Matt Simmonds continue to ride for the team, joined by two young British pinners Joe Smith and Lewis Buchanan. Nigel Page, team manager said: "Matti and Matt both had a great season in 2010 and are focussed to improve further in 2011.”
“I am very pleased to welcome two new great young UK riders to the team in Joe Smith and Lewis Buchanan. I have been really impressed with both Joe and Lewis' riding and results over the last few years and I believe they will be great for the team. I hope with the support of our team they can meet their full potential in 2011 and the future.”
On the 4X roster Lukas Mechura is joined by his younger brother, and former BMX racer Michael. Nigel Page has very high hopes: “Michael has mainly been a BMX racer all his life, but after a taste or 4X racing in 2010 his is super keen to put his full efforts into 4X. I have very high hopes for all the guys on the team for 2011. They are all really talented fast guys and if they all pull together and help each other out, all of them can make it to the very top level of our sport."
Team ChainReactionCycles.com/Nukeproof will be competing in the full UCI World Cup series, UCI World Championships, the British Halo BDS Downhill series plus other races and events. Team mechanics Dave Garland and Carl Lottering-Geeson will be keeping the Nukeproof bikes in check.

Your orders will come, bitching about it on an internet forum won't do you any good... Never had any problem with late orders from CRC, postage is always fooked at this time of year though...just be patient
unlucky i guess and if you look they arent actually that cheap anymore some stuf they are ! but like bikes and big items lbs can provide the same , also this year a new agreement is coming in with the distributors to stop dirt cheap internet sites
well, i wouldnt call it dirt cheap, some items are but thats if there on sale due to hugh stock, i dont see how there allowedto do that because CRC own there products as they bought them so they ld be allowed to give them away if they wanted ( Hint Hint ). But yeah very unlucky, they've sent me broken parts, parts that look second hand and they managed to send me the wrong rims 3 times, but i suppose i won in the situation, because when the postage guy came to collect the rims he said he was only picking up one, so i suppose 2 free mtx 29mm welded rims means i can i forgive them, unless it was a comunication error, im that case they can get f*cked cause i sold the other 2 for £70 haha
there is actually agreements from bike shops and internetbased business's , evans have been penalized by specialised recently for going on such low prices
true but it will also means that it would put business's out of business and then specialized would loose sales in the long run its complicated the way it works but it does work well
how would specilized loose buisness? wouldnt selling more products not have the reverse effect? I do agree with the issue for other buisness's, but on the otherhand they should do more to attract customers, i know money is an issue, but look at CRC that used to be a little bike shop at 1st.
It's kind of sad to see Kovarik go but his last year's results were not what was expected and it's refreshing to see a team that use components other than SRAM and Shimano...best of luck to Matti and the rest of the team.
Not rly however he did amazing in champery 10th but I have no Idea where he has gone Apparently he is on Sunn but I looked at the team and there is nothing about him
Win!

I might be wrong.
