The first stage of the Cape Epic starts today with a 112 kilometres course with 2,700 metres of climbing. A tough day of riding will see racers tackle loose rocky surfaces as they spend most of the route ascending.
As with yesterdays prologue riders will have the Land Rover Technical Terrain challenge to look forward to. Set in the final 15 kilometres of the course riders will at least get to enjoy the fact that they get a rest from climbing. Take a look at a preview of the challenge below.
Good response from Nino as it’s seems the cannondale guys didn’t want to have a turn on the front. Can’t wait for the WC season to start!
I mean, of course he's the best, but as a spectator, I'd rather watch a funny and smiling 2nd or 3rd rider like Fumic or VDP, than a rigid Swiss with no real image.
