It was a dusty and wild finals here at Steven's Pass Resort in Washington. Weston Potter used his motocross skills to put down the number 1 run of the day! Demetri Triantafillou came in a smoking hot second with Strobel to round out the top 3.

Josh Gibb took down the W in the juniors after qualifying first the day before. Jason Eiswald, NWcup points leader took 2nd right behind him. Benjamin Van Veen rounded out the top 3 with his best finish of the series so far.

That picture just instilled so much hope in my heart. Thank you. Life really isn't that hard today.

That picture is from the Cascadia Dirt Cup round 3. For some reason he rides the 27.5 for enduro, and the 29er for DH!
  • 2 1
I'm not anti-29er or anti any bike. It makes sense he would ride DH on the 29er because they plow better. However, I gotta wonder... For a racer of Strobel's caliber, doesn't anything other than a win against that pro field indicate that maybe he's racing with a slight handi-cap?

Im trying to find who ever got a clip of someone crashing really hard in the pro men finals. Plate number 390 red jersey with red and black helmet. I was knocked out for about 30 seconds and got backboarded out. I remember when i woke up someone said they got a video of it and i asking to see it

Glad your ok. I watched you get carted off well waiting for my race run.

Yeah, I was standing just down the track and heard him crash. There was a camera set up right where he wen't down so I'm sure some one has the video. Hopefully the rider is okay.

One of the many fast junior's from Canada! USA cycling . . . . How's our junior program doing?
  • 7 0
 4th at mont sainte Anne...

Charlie Harrison is a stud but this is his last year in juniors and Canada had 7 kids in the top 25. USA is 10 times bigger.
  • 1 0
Watch out at Windham. There was some bad luck at mt sainte Anne. Nik Nestoroff was a forerunner and his time was good enough for 13th, and he's only 15. There will be some competitive Americans soon
  • 1 0
You called it. Go USA !
  • 1 0
Bonus tidbit: for all of the American juniors in the top 20, except Charlie, their first World Cup was either mont sainte Anne last week, or windham today. Expect great things in the future.
  • 1 1
Most do the PRO GRT's so it's not like coming from a local race though. Some what of a rich kids sport for sure!
