Field Test: Kona Process 153 CR/DL 29
your post will get downvoted by fanboys, but wow just looked that up and you're right, insane that a reputed bike manufacturer is that close to an F rating, most businesses that get that end up being frauds. they had a reputation for poor quality and bad customer service for years, but I thought that was in the past.

Reclaiming Forgotten Singletrack Trails with Trans-Cascadia Enduro Stage Race
if you saw whats happened to some of the trails in the area because of over promotion you'd understand. In only a couple years King Castle/O'Leary went from untouched deep forest loam riding to being covered in brake bumps and deep outside tire gouges, so blown out they needed reroutes.

Interview: Chris Ball, Director of the EWS - 'Why Would We Mess With A Good Thing?'
the idea that doping is an issue is laugable, anyone who thinks otherwise must not know how much that shit costs. its not a matter of buying some bootleg Thailand roids and sticking a needle in your butt, takes months regimented usage of extremely expensive products with the help of an equally expensive physician. these guys are racing for $1000 checks, factor in travel/training costs and even if you have sponsors matching winnings you are barely making rent if that, not alot left to be dropping 10s of thousands on drugs every year. People forget that overall MTB racing is a small scene and Enduro is a very small part of that. I'm sure a few guys are taking Adderall and stuff like that, but there just isn't enough at stake for the benefits to outweigh the consequences. I spent a good bit of time racing Pro alongside alot of EWS guys and the only questionable substances I saw consumed were vape pens and trail beers.

Development Story: Cannondale's Wild New Single-Sided, Single-Crown XC Fork
I know members of their enduro team who broke somewhere around 30 Lefty's before Cannondale agreed to let them use other forks, so I'd put money on that too! I rode for them in the OG days and was on some of the first Lefty's, can't believe they are still going at it 15+ years later. At least they dropped the head shock....

Cane Creek's Titanium Enduro Crankset - First Look
there are definitely crappy designs out there, but if you think all carbon cranks are bullshit then you don't ride hard enough to notice the benefit of increased responsiveness and stiffness, plain and simple. just save your money and stick to ALU. So many ppl would rather bash products than admit their skills aren't at the point where they can notice a difference from upgrades that aren't even designed for casual riders in the first place.

Santa Cruz Nomad 4 - Review
@felimocl: Obviously EWS level riders have a bit of choice but SC pushes their riders to be on their newest models and the Bronson 2.0 and Hightower have been the most recent rollouts. They were hooking me up for a while and sponsor a few of my homies as well and its always very much "this is whats new this year so this is what we're gonna send you."
