Behind the Numbers: Marin Mount Vision Suspension Analysis
@hamncheez: generally when going to a larger gear pedal kick increases, while antisquat usually drops. This is evidence that they are not the same thing. You will also never be able to say with accuracy “if bike x has 115% AS with 5° of pedal kick, then bike y with 115% AS will also have 5° of pedal kick.”

Behind the Numbers: Marin Mount Vision Suspension Analysis
@hamncheez: not necessarily. The correlation of pedal kick and antisquat is only so firm on regular single pivot bikes. VPP, high pivot, and lawill tend to break that mold

I feel that anything over 5 degrees becomes unrideable, let alone 10

Review: 2019 Santa Cruz Megatower - Stiff & Solid, But Not That Sensitive
I doubt it. Kazimer confused me by adding volume spacers and going softer in the shock. That could make the bike use the first let’s say 2/3 of the travel really easily, then run into a wall of progression in the last 1/3, translating as harshness. I think it would have made more sense to add low speed compression damping to get the shock to ride a bit high in a softer part of the spring curve, or simply go up in pressure, especially after his complaints about pedal strikes in the low mode.

Caminade Shows Off Prototype Titanium Enduro Bike
This thing will have more of a chain effect as the the pedal stroke will pull the shock into compression, and there will be high pedal kick upon rebound

She was 9.3 seconds back. A time gap that in men would have been in 40th place. There’s no evidence of an advantage here. If there were 60 women and Kate finished 40th with the exact same time no one would care at all.
