PS. i admit that i need to grow up too and stop reacting to every guy that thinks he is being witty and cool by using sexist comments wherever women are featured on this site - it has become clear to me that most of you feed off of each other like mould on a toilet seat - and those of us who can see a woman without drooling, or making potty mouthed comments are likely in a relationship with a woman who we respect, or have daughters the age of Lia...and mothers, whom i doubt some of you had since it would seem you may have been pissed up against a wall and hatched by the sun...am i on a rant ? not at all - just laying the truth out there and have absolutely no respect for any of you [ or your inevitable defensive reactions to the truth ] and am not afraid to let you know...

Pinkbike suffers from a brutally sexist community... part of it I'm sure has to do with the fact we use the internet as our primary medium. the above comment is extremely offensive, and at some point Pinkbike moderators will realize how much the community is limited by them allowing this kind of thing without at least temporary bans on accounts. but trolling with the trolls and making personal attacks is extremely inappropriate too, and actually damages your credibility.

@N1I0c the terminology used implies girls should measure up to male standards can be interpreted as very sexist. Not to mention the implication that she's only good at biking because she has a Y chromosome. I'll agree it isn't insofar as too say that I genuinely feel that HamishG likely didn't intend it too make a sexist statement, but understood academically it really is, and it scary some people don't see any of it.
