Noga Korem Sitting Out the Derby Enduro World Cup Due to Head Injury
Noga Korem has announced that after sustaining a head injury she will be sitting out today's Enduro World Cup racing.
 | Gutted to let you know that I won't be racing tomorrow. It's a pretty hard call to make but @taralazarski and @ 88gc reminded me that I only have one head so better take good care of it. Its Common practice amongst riders in mtb and mx going fast in torrential/soaking wet conditions .
There comes a point where you just can't see through the goggles due to water spray and watery mud and its bloody dangerous and impossible to gobat race pace.... this is regardless of the lense/tear off systems you have.
Removing the lense allows for full vision with less need for the squinty eye technique due to the bulk of the goggles obscuring a lot of the spray hitting your eyes. Is it perfect? Far from it, but it's definitely better than no goggles or spray covered goggles.
