Over the course of 5 days, we will explore the Yukon with our mountain bikes, following the singletracks that weave through the Yukon Boreal forest, up and down the mountains and around our lakes and rivers. Ryan will mix in personal and group skill development throughout the rides for continuous progression. He will share his experiences and help us to conquer the mental aspect of mountain biking, which will lead to an overall progression in our skill.

Ryan is such a cool dude, We did work on his bike when he came here to film at some local spots. Him and Jay Hoots are real cool guys.

Agreed, I've never actually met Ryan personally, but he seems like a very sincere person based of what I have read of him. Jay Hoots is a freaking Hoot! Hope I get to ride more with him this summer.

Thanks for posting this Tyler!! Let me know if anyone has questions about the trip! The pictures don't show it, but there is some incredible technical singletrack with custom log and woodwork, heeps of it actually! Whitehorse has two full time paid mt bike trail builders!

Is it possible this will become a frequent event or a yearly thing? I only ask because it says there's only 8 guest spots open and I'm sure aside from myself many other people would love to participate in this event but will unfortunately have to miss out. And seriously, for that price this is flat out an amazing deal and I can only assume the 8 spots will be snatched up VERY fast.

Hi Cyrix, we did the Ride and Reach in 2010 for the first time, and yes certainly do plan to make it an annual thing. If there is enough interest, then perhaps we'll consider doing two in 2012, but for now, first come first serve...and we may even limit the attendance to 6 depending on the yurt accommodation preference of the first 6 who register. Right on!

 Awesome looking trip!
I just started yoga about a month ago, and I have noticed an improvement in my riding for sure.
My balance and sensitivity in relation to where the weight is on the bike has improved quite a bit.

I had no idea that one of our sport's superstars ( well known for balance and handling skills ) was a yoga specialist as well ( makes sence).

I wish I could go on tis trip.

The Yukon is an amazing place to ride, some of the best singletracks I have ridden in my life. It's only a two hours flight from Vancouver, Calgary or Edmonton and so worth it!
