Press Release: Swiss Enduro Series

Four races in the fourth year of the Swiss Enduro Series as last year's Swiss championship destination, Aletsch-Arena, becomes a UCI EDR World Cup round.

The Swiss Enduro Series can look back on an extremely successful 2023 season. With more than 2,200 registered participants from over 40 different countries, the series has seen impressive international participation. All races were sold out in the 2023 season, underlining the growing popularity of the Swiss Enduro Series among riders and fans alike.

The three destinations, Leukerbad, Airolo and Laax, have established themselves as strong fixtures in recent years and will once again offer breathtaking scenery and challenging trails in the Swiss Alps. Einsiedeln will hold the series finale as part of the Bikeside Festival and is the latest addition to the SES calendar. The round in the canton of Schwyz promises a new challenge for the participants and brings the series to Central Switzerland for the first time.

A particular highlight of the coming season is the decision to put Aletsch Arena, which hosted the Swiss Championship in 2023, in the international spotlight. Aletsch Arena will be part of the Enduro World Cup this year, which confirms not only the series but also Switzerland as an outstanding host for international enduro events.

The Swiss Enduro Series is looking forward to welcoming riders and fans to the exciting venues of the 2024 season and promises further high-calibre competitions and unforgettable moments for all enduro enthusiasts and elite riders.

I really struggled on the trails around Einsiedeln the other day but wasn't sure if I was really that bad at riding. It's comforting to see that the Swiss Enduro Series finale will take place there so I might not have been the only problem Big Grin

Those trails are less than ideal in this weather. Also the Enduro they did in Einsiedeln this year was a mud bath from start to finish. One of the worst places to ride unless it's dry. The forest has almost no rock in the soil and water doesn't drain for quite some days after raining.

I want to ride Laax next year. Never did it. Somehow I always end up in Lenzerheide. I hope it's worth it

@pakleni: Laax has actually very nice trails besides the flow highways the trails builders build. Last year, the transfer to stage 2 was a insane... 90% had to push up for longer than 1 hour, destroyed non-pros before the actuall stage.

@pakleni: Laax is a super nice place to race enduro, so many different ones.. go there it is worth it! raced trail trophy twice there. 15 stages were really cool. dont know the setup for swiss enduro, but almost all stages were good i thought.
dont know why people hate on flow trails like runca - they are super fun if well built. there are so many enduro type trails there why hate on 2 flow trails @Chusoo ...non sene! stop the hating and the constant complaining. leave that to the germans.
