 What's wrong with Taiwan? The stuff that comes from there is high quality and the workers are treated well.

 I like to buy American made products as often as possible. If its made in Canada then I'm ok with that too along with a few other countries. Just a preference of mine that's all.

 most of bike companies have their factories in China, Japan, or Taiwan, even if they say " high quality product made in usa " for example... and that doesnt means the have frame of less or more quality than other companies, you will never see the diference...

 I'm not referring to quality, just profit and where the money goes.

 Transition is an American company, i think they're located in Oregon or Washington state. They off shore the production to keep costs down. If the production of the bikes was done in the USA then the prices would be around 30% higher for the exact same product.

 I understand why companies do these sorts of things, but I am willing to shell out a little more dough for an "in house" company.
