Cheers, I've cut the neatly around the 'x' now so look even better. I picked them at the ends till I could grab a bit, then carefully peeled them back until the 'x' was lifted. This allowed me easy access to cut accurately with scissors! Then when it was done I just firmly reapplied the remaining bit of sticker which I had lifted up
