FYI: V12 platform is a lot smaller than it appears to be in photos. Orange graphix on the fork tho; random RF stem!! why not chromag for matching; quite a risky move with the red grips. Small niggles but really can't go wrong with a frame like that with black rims/bar and fork!

I would likely remove the decals on the fork. RF stem is not random. I'm not a huge fan of Chromag stems. And why risky with red grips? There's a red/gold theme going on, and I don't want to run a red stem with a red headset.

Nice, I have that headset for my upcoming street build, dig it.

Why projekt street, but dirt frame?
  • 2 1
"Dirt" frame. Just because NS calls it a dirt frame doesn't mean you can't make it into a street bike.
  • 1 0
But if you're making a street build would it not make more sense to go for the park model for the higher bb?
  • 1 0
They don't sell the street frame through BTI.
  • 1 0
You can email the guy at BTI that stocks the inventory from European bike companies and he'll special order anything you want. I got my Gusset Kamon pedals that way....... pmartin@bti-usa.com

As cool as that is, NS no longer makes a "dirt" and "street" specific version of the Suburban. They only do that for the Majesty.
  • 1 0
Also there is a 6 month lead time for any NS parts/frames that are special ordered. Blank Stare

The street frames feel weird though if you are taller than 5'10" anyways. The slacker longer Dirt geometry is so much nicer.
  • 1 0
Moot. I'm getting another Edit1 frame anyway.

Yes, yes, yes, yes, yes, yes!!!!!!! Glad you are going for the best cranks made as well (not the lightest, but the best).
(I love the idea of red and gold. I just hope it actually turns out as well as I think it will and not as bad as I dread it may).

lol all the kids and their classification of bikes...RIDE A f*ckING BIKE!

Edit1 will be rad, BM give you a good deal on them?

Check into BTI, their Majesty inventory looked pretty good. It's worth trying man, its the best Geo of any hardtail I've ever ridden. The Majesty Dirt is just SO good!

Yeah Carter is letting me EP even though we are not a dealer. Also the Edit1 has a tapered headtube now, so I could run a Pike DJ.

Nice! New build coming? I LOVE my Majesty. I ride it more than my Ticket S for actual dirt jumps.

Edit: Suburban, same difference, why not Majesty though?
  • 1 0
Originally it was because only the Sub was available in gold from BTI. Now it's moot, like I said above, because I'm probably getting another Edit1.
  • 2 2
Hmmmm, that red and gold together, idk man.
  • 2 1
 That will be expensive!
  • 2 0
The fork is the only pricey part of the build really.
  • 2 2
 This is not a street
  • 2 2
 You're right, it's a bike.
  • 2 1
 Project Dirt... no street
  • 1 1
So if I build a dirt bike and ride it on street, is it still a dirt bike? Get a clue dude. Facepalm

 Red and gold? Risky.
  • 2 0
Red and gold are Chinese royal colors.
