Aug 8, 2026Specialized Epic 8 Pro XX T-Type AXS - Carbon
$6150 USDThis is the bike you need, it's fast enough for real competitive racing, and fun enough for trail riding, the bike that changed modern XC geometry for today's era of XC racing. It comes in a 24lb package, with full T-Type XX AXS drve internal downtube storage (SWAT Box), carbon frame, carbon wheels, carbon bars, carbon cranks, and remote lockouts for front and rear suspension. This is the bike that was winning XC World Cups 2023-2025. The Specialized Epic 8 Pro+, built to S-Works spec.
Bike only has 202 miles on it according to my Strava, and was ridden most commonly with my kids on easy midwest trails. It truly is nearly mint and could nearly pass for new on showroom floor. It was incredibly well taken care of and stored inside whole life, maintained by a cycling industry employee meticulously. If you can read this, you likely know someone who knows me, and would happily vouch for the life all my bikes live, they have it very easy over here.
This was a Pro level build with upgrades made to it, including the complete SRAM XX Transmission group-set on it and a new Rockshox SID Ultimate 3P Race Day fork in vivid blue to match the bike, as well as the Rockshox SIDLuxe shock, both controlled by a TwistLoc remote. This is a true XC bike in speed and weight, with manners and geometry of a trail bike. 120mm travel front and rear, built up to 24lbs, it's the perfect mountain bike.
There's a couple component changes that the bike will come different from photos, 1. no pedals or bottle cages included, I'll remove before selling. 2. Saddle will be replaced by a brand new, never ridden Titanium WTB Silverado saddle (coming off my new bike).
Option 1: if you want to negotiate price, I can sell the bike with a brand new, never ridden X0 T-Type drivetrain, instead of the XX installed currently.
Happy to provide any level of detailed photo, video, or whatever you need for it. I love bikes, selling bikes, and helping folks enjoy rad bikes. I'm here for it. Bike is like new, with only 200 miles on it. Please shoot me a text or message me if you'd like any specific shots or more info

Bike Check: Wes Lukens' Custom Frameworks 26/24" Mullet
This is so fucking cool. My boy had a great time riding with Wes a few times over the past 3 years, and been neat to watch him develop. As per usual, watching Neko pick up and coming talent to work with and develop seems to be regular practice for him, watching what Neko and his team has accomplished is no mystery, and I love to see the success. Thanks for the article, was super curious about how he ended up connecting with FW, and the additional details on the bike build! My boy and Wes were riding the same frame from previous brand up until this summer and we had to go a different route for the next bike than a custom FW frame, so was neat to read about!
