I remember showing my ground raper to Tomas a few years back him and some thought it was ridiculous but within a year everyone was making them ???? I love mine but don't use it where I'm currently building Pulaski is still king all around tool for me but these are great for anything without roots I use mine for packing down the trail

not good news brother! Mud slides and overflowing rivers equals to the last 3 days full of heart ache. I just got good news from my buddy who I couldn't get a hold of! His neighborhood is wipped out and everyones house that didn't get swept away is full of mud, he got lucky and his house is ok but just feet from him is where the water came to! Sorry, I want to share more positive vibes man! Once things dry up some, I will get out for a little street sesh!

@nikoniko: I was just going to message you about all the carnage and see if you made it through ok. I figured heavy rain, storms but not much actually damage, then I was driving the route yesterday listening to classical music on NPR and they did a news story on the mudslides, destruction over there, it is amazing how isolated news can still be today. The news feed was very informative, best wishes and thoughts for everyone effected for a quick recovery and sadness and condolences for all the loss.

 Thanks you greatly!
Its not fun seeing so many people devastated from a simple storm, bit we still have 3 more days of rain so its not over yet!
I called my grandparents on Sunday as it was pouring and I had some time, but both on my fathers and mothers side also didn't hear any news! It is the country side of Japan and I have even herd of murders in this area not seeing any news coverage. Yet, in Tokyo a kid falls at school and breaks his arm and its all over the news while everyone tries to flurry with new rules and standards so no more kids break their arms! hahahahah Just funny to me! Smile

@nikoniko: It is quite funny in a depressing manor the way people tend to overlook a lot in life to focus on the hot topic issues of the masses. A setback to living outside of a city area is the lower population means less constituents and less pull on news media and government to accommodate recovery and aid in any problems... It is wilder living in rural areas and that can be a positive and a negative. Best wishes, and hope the rain does not cause too much more destruction.

 Thank you very much!
I take it as a positive, when Im in town about an hour drive from me either north or west, I get frustrated easily! Ooops! lol Too much traffic and cars! But when Im walking the city taking in the people, sounds and all the beauty it as to offer I relax at a cafe and sip on some nice coffee watching the living city, something I don't get around here. We have one more day of rain today according to the news! Thank you brother!

@nikoniko: I take rural living as a positive as well... 5 O'clock or noon in Corning I'm like "What the hell!!!" Even though city people would think it's chill. My town 10 miles north doesn't even have a stop light haha. The city is a vibrant hub to observe people and cultures.
