hhahhahahahahhhaha I have a video from about 3 or 4 years ago where Im in sandals riding these very stairs! On this day we were going to film here but an elderly guy was glaring at us as he was sweeping some leaves. I have to have great respect for this guy as I know he doesn't live anywhere close to here but he came up the mountain to clean and sweep this site. This mountain was where the "Yamabushi" resigned during the age when Shintoism was made illegal. The monks were here for hundreds of years blending the older Shinto beliefs with Buddhism and somehow made what I think of a new religion because modern Japanese believe both religions as if they were one. That has to be in respect to the Yamabushi! I too think the kids of the past must have used these as a goal post at times! hahahahhaahha
Worse, better or the same, I will take his art in with greatness! I love Obee1's art as it inspires me to put pen to paper more often and recently I have tons of art everyday! I love it!
Yeah, I practice art a lot also. Although there is typically an F in front of the A... I am still waiting for @obee1 to send me some goodies! I have been putting up with his shit for a long ass time!!!
@nikoniko: know that heels and i have a lowbrow sense of humour. this, coupled with a proclivity for back handed compliments and teasing, is used to express friendship and appreciation for one another. gunga galunga.
Yes, I often think as I ponder at these magnificent sights, if I were to move back to the US or wherever, I would surely miss this daily intake of old culture.
