me too brake one xxxx 06' at the same place, and the brake was only Shimano BR-m535 with 7" Avid rotor. Second owner of my frame and no warranty, there isn't norco dealer around near 600 miles. What can i say i dont blame the person that sold me the frame but 2 weeks later i gought the Norco six 07 frame and no worries for the last 3 mounts

 its my bike and yeah it made this death noise for like 2 weeks and yes the codes did it in, but we also broke a 4x the same day

 alright so you have a sweet ass warrenty on norco frames after 2005 you have a 5 year defective frame warrenty its pretty dank what year is the frame? if it is over 2005 then you have a 5 year warrenty!

 as You see... Avid Code is too strong for that frame
