 Not quite. we have about 2.2" of rearward travel just like the Canfield Jedi just more controlled like the V-10. travel is rear but up, not rear - out. make sense?

 Correct me if I'm wrong DM, but I do believe one of your diagrams had a projected chain growth of 2.8 inches.

 what does DM stand for , and no none of my actual bike has so much chain growth the overkill has 1 inch backward and the xxx had 1 inch as well wich did not interfer much

 the dimensions were off on that movie. It isn't that bad for growth. I'l know as soon as the crankset gets here.

 I just measured chain growth. it is 1.25"

 hmmm need to check that one thing than. The demo movie of the draw up on the frame's movements shows a growth of 2.8ish at the end of it's travel.
